Triplett Excavating was founded in 2001 by Owner Jordan Triplett to provide quality excavating service to the High Country.

At Triplett Excavating we believe the work we do today influences the future of your land greatly. That is why we take great pride in using sustainable land management techniques. We strive to preserve the wealth and prevent any negative impact, while growing the look and value of the land moving forward. We want to meet your needs while maintaining our beautiful mountains, streams, forests and wildlife. We stay current in all the latest techniques for excavating, land clearance and all the services we offer. Our techniques come from years of experience, perfecting our craft and learning more efficient and effective ways of molding and sculpting your land into the dream home site and landscape you have envisioned. We work on all jobs from large to small and put forth the same quality and consistency on every site we work on.
 

Our equipment is carefully selected to meet our needs and match the requirements of our jobs. We want to have the most efficient machine available to limit the time wasted on a project. The greater efficiency that comes from well-trained, multi-talented employees and the proper equipment we have helps us reduce cost while streamlining the process. About the Owner

Owner Jordan Triplett was born and raised in Watauga County. He has always had a great fascination and appreciation for the natural beauty and splendor of the High Country. His enjoyment and enthusiasm for operating heavy machinery came from a childhood spent playing in the dirt with Tonka toys and taking every opportunity to play on or operate every piece of heavy equipment that he could which led him to combined all these passions into a career.  Jordan has a great love for being outdoors, enjoying and preserving nature and what it has to offer. Jordan has a great passion for helping people. He is a volunteer firefighter, EMT and believes strongly in giving back to the community and helping people. Jordan is also a licensed private pilot where he enjoys viewing the Earth's beauty from a different perspective.

About the Equipment

We wanted to introduce you to the metal employees at Triplett Excavating. It would be impossible to complete all the jobs and services we offer without the many skills and features that these essential members have.
 

The Kabota K6-057 is an excavator capable of completing many jobs large and small.


The Kabota SVL-90 is a Compact Track Loader, a very versatile machine. It is able to move small or large amounts of material quickly and easily. It also has a 72" Bush Hog attachment capable of clearing brush up to 5" in diameter!


Kabota L60 4-wheel drive tractor is multi-use at on job site work, snow removal, grading, fixing driveways, and transporting material from one place to another.
